The proven Turbine™ core offers a medium RG and ampleflare potential which works for a variety of styles on a countless number of lane conditions. Previously powering the Tropical Heat™ series, this core shape allows you to control your roll pattern and, ultimately, your ball reaction. Need a little more hook? Just place the pin in a stronger position and you’re ready to roll.

However, to enhance the reaction of the original Tropical Heats, Storm wrapped the Turbine core with a more aggressive R2S™ hybrid reactive coverstock which really moves down lane. Its responsive nature grips the dry boards and turns the corner when needed. This stronger shell can be prepped with a sanding pad if needed, but give it a good look first with the factory finish as it provided an optimum motion in testing.
